Very stable, quick-save feature works well if an interruption comes up, and with 4 maps and a lot of levels (I've seen up to level 500 - I don't know what the max level is!), there's a lot of replayability in this. This game is a perfect phone game, eac h level takes between 15-30 minutes (depending on game speed) so it's perfect if you have a fewe spare minutes (waiting for a bus, inbetween lectures, at lunch) or sink hours into it - it's just that enjoyable! Lot of replayability, I got the app over a year ago and still I boot it up every now and then to destroy a few robots. One of my favourite TD games - scratch that, one of my favourite games for the android. It's a shame there's no two-player mode but, overall, Robo Defense makes for an entertaining way to spend a bus journey.Īdded Flare unlock disable until mine is purchasedImproved sound stability on Galaxy S2 ChangesĪdded Flare unlock disable until mine is purchasedImproved sound stability on Galaxy S2īy Anonymous reviewed on October 19, 2010
There are 10 levels of difficulty in this free version of Robo Defense, but only one basic map. There's also an 'Achievements' section where you strive to make certain goals.
The game includes 'reward points' that are given out for good performance during play, and these can be used to power up the weapons. Robo Defense is an engrossing game that will have you hooked for hours.
Look carefully at the route the enemy forces are taking through your defenses to get an idea of the areas you need to strengthen. Once you've bought a robot you need to make the important decision as to where to place it. Each robot in Robo Defense has a different kind of weapon, and its potency generally depends on how much you paid for it.
